Otokoyama Honten established in 1912, a sake producer in Kesennuma, Japan, faced devastation when their historic building was destroyed by the 2011 tsunami. Despite this, the brewery survived and resumed sake production the next day using surviving materials. The community's support inspired them to continue sake production, emphasizing the importance of local bonds. Today, they focus on crafting sake that reflects local resources and cuisine, enjoyed by consumers locally and nationally.

Their main brands are Sotenden, Biroku and Kesennuma Otokoyama.
