Kintsuru (金鶴) is Kato Shuzoten’s main line. Its name comes from Sado Island’s gold mine (佐渡金山) and Tsurushi Silver mine (鶴子銀山). The characters and design of Kintsuru on the label is by Sado Island’s calligrapher Higashi Tsuchiya.
This sake is made from the highest polishing ratio sake rice in the brewery. The sake is pressed by using “yabuta.” This sake has a very fruity aroma, rich mouthfeel, but a clean aftertaste.
Pairing suggestions: Sea bream carpaccio
